Waakisa Ministries is joining hands with local people and working in partnership with the Church of Uganda, to provide support to young, vunerable Ugandan girls who, under pressure and with limited choices, face crisis pregnancy and the threat of HIV & AIDS. The children of Uganda hold the future for the country, so alongside Ugandan schools, Waakisa is educating, supporting and empowering young people to make positive life choices.

Pregnancy Care Centre

Most young women live in poverty and are always under peer pressure, which often forces them to compromise themselves in exchange for gifts.

The United Nations Children's Fund says early childbearing is a major cause of death among young women, who are prone to birth complications.
