Gala Ball 2011

The Waakisa May Ball celebrates the work of Waakisa Ministries work at the Waakisa Youth Centre in Uganda and a commitment to supporting vulnerable girls at their point of need along with educating young people to make safe and informed choices about their future.

Our goal for the ball is to raise awareness of the work as well as some well needed funds to assist in the running of the project and help transform the lives of young Ugandans - we hope you will want to be part of this very special event.

The Evening

This year's May Ball will once again be held in the beautiful Stormont Hotel on Friday 20th May, 2011.

The Stormont Hotel is one of Northern Ireland's finest hotels and boasts an unequalled location, overlooking Belfast's Royal Mile and gardens leading up to Stormont Parliament Buildings.

You'll be treated to a beautiful four course meal, with lots of opportunities to win prizes and indulge yourself (or someone else) with our auction.

Entertainment will be provided by the wonderful After Midnight, who promise to have you on your feet for the rest of the evening.
